I don't know since when I became fascinated with macrame crafts. Maybe when the beginning of corona happened and when everyone had to stay at home. I just opened a random youtube video and found a thumbnail related to an amazing wall hanging. I found a video from Soulful Notions on wall hangings with basic techniques that are easy to follow.

Starting from here I finally decided to make small works of macrame only for personal use. I follow a lot of youtube channels and find teachers who teach techniques that I find easy to follow as a beginner. If you are new to macrame, try following them to make it easier for you to create beautiful and easy macrame works.

This channel is one of my favorite channels. At first, I liked this channel when I wanted to make a coaster for my handmade candle. The owner of this channel is from South Korea but don't worry the video is equipped with English subtitles. The tutorials that are shared are more likely to be home decor wall hangings, but there are also videos related to making bags and bracelets.
